Our program needs a Linux Containerization Engineer experienced with Docker and Kubernetes. This is a unique opportunity in that it is mission facing, genuinely having an impact on our nation's security. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
3+ years of related work experience
Develops microservices in a Linux environment for deployment as containerized applications 3+ years' experience
Desire to develop into a software engineer developing for kubernetes through on-the-job experience and study
Strong understanding of containerizatio, including Docker 3+ years' experience
Experience with Bash and Python scripting 3-5 years' experience
Experience developing in and supporting a git environment
Familiarity with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph
Familiarity with mail protocols
Experience working as part of a team, enjoys collaboration
Aptitude to learn new technologies
Ability to clearly communicate via email and through documentation
These Skills Would Be Nice to Have:
Ideal candidate will have a breadth of skills across software development, reverse engineering, scripting, tool development, virtual infrastructure, creating and testing new methods of operating in a large and dynamic work environment
Demonstrated skills in development using Java, C, Python, and Golang
Reverse engineering of binaries
Will be able to ascertain how applications interact with infrastructure with an ability to confirm web API end points
Demonstrated experience writing tools, scripting to develop, enhance, and customize tools
Demonstrated experience setting up virtual infrastructure
Demonstrated experience planning concepts of operations, testing & refining plans, documenting automation steps
Ability to parse through large data sets, specifically network data to fully understand and troubleshoot issues
