The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a skilled Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, formerly SCCM) Engineering lead in support of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The candidate will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing and implementing a MECM infrastructure as part of a larger enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution. The MECM portion of the UEM solution shall be capable of managing all Windows endpoints connected to the network.
On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead the MECM team in engineering and implementing a solution capable of managing the DAF workforce endpoints. This will include managing and mentoring various levels of engineers and admins, and escalating areas of concern to senior management as required. This role is considered both technical and managerial.
Oversee a team of senior and mid-level engineers implementing MECM.
Mentor team members to grow skillsets.
Ensure the team is focused and delivering on customer priorities in support of the mission.
Proactively communicate with senior leadership on progress, milestones met, issues/risks encountered, etc.
Oversee that the team is:
Ensuring the design of the solution is scalable to meet DAF needs/growth.
Establishing procedures based on industry best practices for both routine and zero-day patch management.
Deploy applications and application updates based on defined criteria.
Operate and maintain the overall MECM infrastructure supporting the enterprise.
Track all relevant SLA/SLRs and provide reports as required.
Collaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframes.
Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active DoD secret clearance
12+ Years of relevant experience (bachelor’s degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
Security+ or equivalent certification
Servant leader mindset
Experience working in classified environments.
Experience leading teams of varying skillsets and abilities.
Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updates.
Experience building/deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current Branch
Experience managing a large MECM infrastructure.
Experience managing Windows Servers and Workstations (mobile devices a plus)
Experience working in a DoD environment.
Familiarity with STIG requirements
Familiarity with ITILv4
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired:
Experience with ServiceNow

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$102,900 - $216,200
