What You’ll Get to Do:
Seeking an experienced network engineer to support mission systems. You will be a seasoned network engineer performing a wide variety of duties including installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades and general support for Cisco and Juniper equipment. You will be a network professional capable of applying sound engineering practices, good judgement, and technical acumen to achieve both short and long terms goals as established by the client. You will assist in the configuration and deployment of core and peripheral network devices, which will require continuous learning of these state of the art devices and technologies.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with required Polygraph clearance
Approx 7 years of experience as a network engineer
Analyze client requirements and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of varying degree of complexity and priority
Perform maintenance and upgrades of networks including routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, hardware and networks
Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies while maintaining system backs ups and recovery capabilities
Proactive monitoring of all network devices, service and services using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and continuity of operations
Demonstrated experience with network monitoring tools
Maintain current knowledge and documentation of relevant technology for the branch
Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity for the entire domain
Provide end-user support and issue resolution as the SME via help-desk tickets and events
Provide emergency 24-7 support for emergencies and on a rotating basis across the team
Demonstrated experience with data center / enterprise operational maintenance support
Demonstrated experience with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, Ethernet, DS1, T1 ,routing concepts and routing protocols, HSRP, VRRP, DHCP, 802.1Q, STP, EtherChannel, VLANs, Subnetting, IP Addressing, VPN
Demonstrated experience with cloud networking concept
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal and external teams
Demonstrated experience being a quick learner, detail oriented and string work ownership
Ability to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment and address the most urgent actions with calculated care
Strong time management and organizational skills
