POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Under supervision, will assist in establishing and maintaining monthly re-contact requirements under a strict Quality Control Contact Program for the DHS contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary role is to monitor and report on investigation performance by conducting re-contacts with sources previously interviewed by an investigator.

  • Candidate must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, thorough and accurate note taking skills, effective time management & be capable of using a case management tool.

  • May also assist, if time allows, on the DCSA contract by assisting in conducting in-person and telephonic re-contacts of Sources and Subjects on investigations for quality assurance reasons, conduct complaint investigation and propose resolutions and assist with integrity/misconduct investigations as assigned and directed administrative tasking such as case materials tracking, retention and destruction.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 12 consecutive months of previous experience as an investigator.

  • Must have a current Favorable T5/T5R.

  • Having DHS Investigator credentials or contract experience is a plus.

  • Must be willing to travel if your home office is not in Chantilly, VA

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face. Requires use of office software and communication systems such as email and federal client computer systems. Some travel may be required.
