What You'll Get To Do:

  • Perform computer network evaluations to include penetration security assessments in a cybersecurity red team environment.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with required Polygraph clearance

  • Minimum of 7 years experience as a Network Engineer, System engineer, or in the Cyber Security field as a hands on penetration tester.

  • Understanding of network/cyber security, penetration testing, and information security practices.

  • Experience performing network packet inspection, traffic analysis, performance characterization (e.g.WireShark, TCPdump, etc.).

  • Hands on experience with network logging and monitoring tools such as Cisco StealthWatch, SPLUNK, LogRhythm, & Solarwinds,

  • Hands on experience writing scripts for automation, parsing data sets, and network monitoring (e.g. bash, Perl, Python, etc.).

  • Proficiency working from command line with Windows and Linux environments.

  • Hands on experience with Linux network security tools – (e.g.Metasploit, BurpeSuite, nmap, etc.).

  • Experience and ability to research the latest security developments in the relevant operating systems to identify impacts.

  • Experience implementing security standards in a fast pace environment.

  • Ability to work with system owners and developers to engage in joint project planning and execution.

  • 3-5 years of experience developing on and / or administering Windows or Linux systems/networks.

  • Security assessments and vulnerability identification of targeted environments to document weaknesses.

  • Extremely detail oriented.

  • Strong communication skills.

These skills would be nice to have:

  • Graduate level degree

  • Experience using scripting languages for automation, parsing data sets, and network monitoring (e.g. bash, Perl, Python, etc.).

  • Experience conducting Incident response to include research and identification of attack vector, malware mitigation and removal, and documentation of event.
