CACI International Performance Testing Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
The Performance Testing Engineer works as part of the Operations and Engineering Division, Test and Development team, and is responsible for performance testing and benchmarking for preproduction systems, to validate that they meet all functional, performance, or other qualifications prior to obtaining production deployment approval.
Devise and implement test strategies that adequately assess all software aspects
Develop and document test plans and test scripts
Research, recommend, and implement approved automation tools to automate some or all of the testing phase of the release lifecycel
Conduct hands-on testing of UI, functional and backend data components
Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate on issue resolution
Track and document all testing defects and resolutions
Participate in the design and development for test automation and support
Works well with a team of engineers and developers
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related work experience
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or other related fields
Knowledge of Java or other programming languages
Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
Strong root cause analysis skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
At least 1-3 years of experience with mobile application testing and development
Developing manual and automated test scripts
Writing and maintaining technical documents to include, but not limited to user stories, test scenarios and test cases
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Relevant DHS focused experience
Demonstrated prior experience operating in a similar capacity.
