Job Description

The CDM Program is managed within the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate, (NPPD)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.

What You'll Get To Do:

The applicant shall work as a member of the team of financial analysts. Applicant will assist and track all CDM Defend program purchase orders, working with CACI Procurement Department and expedite and liaise with CACI Procurement Department to ensure program requirements are met. Applicant will be responsible for analyzing data for PMO for budgetary needs. Familiar with operations and service supply system processing requisitions, billing transactions, and reconciliation referencing the Financial Management Regulation. Work directly with company buyers, subcontracts administrators and vendors to facilitate purchase order accuracy and processing. Ensure Government customers receive equipment orders in a timely manner. Receive and close out activities for purchase orders, reconcile past task orders.

More About The Role:

  • Preparing analysis to support the documentation for source selections for Proposal Pricing on procurements

  • Entering proposal cost data into automated source selection systems

  • Preparing documentation and analysis to support cost for a wide range of IT related projects

  • Compiling information and performs assessments

  • Participating in and supports meetings and program reviews

  • Performing status and tracking of orders with buyers and vendors

  • Perform set up of Subcontractor accounts in the Sub Extraction (SubET) system in which subcontractors enter their daily work hours that will be basis for their claim submittal and payment replacing monthly paper invoicing

  • This will require monitoring and adjusting funding such that the Subcontractors have sufficient funding for authorized work.

  • Also includes the maintenance and management of Project Strings (charge codes) and PLC (labor categories) for each Subcontractor employee in SubET

  • Perform financial analysis duties including vendor & subcontractor funding

  • Support internal financial reporting deliverables as directed by the PCA Mgr, such as monthly variance analysis and forecasting

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Must be clearable to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) EOD clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field

  • 2+ years program control and accounting (PCA) experience in a government contracting environment

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting global supply chain procurement activities, coordinating with buyers, program management, to facilitate Subcontractor and ODC/Materials/Software procurements in support of customer/contractual requirements.

  • Experience with supply chain management

  • Relevant DHS or .Gov Cyber Security focused experience

  • Current DHS EOD

  • Current DoD security clearance
