Join the team as a Release Manager that implements Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management for Public Sector (CLM), web-based ERP contract management solution, for agencies across the Government.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Leadership: Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments, Leads, directs and reviews Test Automation and Manual Team members and their work as needed.

  • Manage Sprint teams responsible for delivering capabilities in COTS-based ERP, modularized solution, including:

  • o Conduct Sprint ceremonies and ensure delivery of the code on time with high quality

  • o Conduct Code Reviews

  • o Assist Chief Engineer in generating and delivering the Sprint Reports (Velocity/Capacity), EVM type reports and other milestone reports.

  • o Participate in Scrum of Scrums as needed

  • o Assist Chief Engineer in delivering CDRL on time by contributing to its content

  • o Requirements delivery, Interface development delivery, resolving any issues in Integration and Verification & Validation

  • o Managing the day-to-day tasks for a team of analysts and developers required for full lifecycle system implementation for your assigned customer(s)

  • Manage the tangible resources, including team members, to achieve target financial performance:

  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring as needed

  • Set goals, assess performance and grow the resources on your team

  • Resolution of any personal or team-related issues on time and escalation immediately

More About the Role:

  • Manages the Sprint team with a focus on Agile implementation from the waterfall, and implementation of strategic initiatives, and managing day to day deliverables. Establishes or works to achieve, team objectives, Writes and manages Sprint plans with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function or completion of a project.

  • Conducts and coordinates code reviews and Engineering best practices. Coordinates and facilitates to the Product Owner/Customers Sprint demos.

You’ll Bring these Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least DOD Secret clearance or can obtain Secret.

  • Strong Development, Development Team management and coordinating test team experience, preferably six (6) years experience in incremental development projects using an Agile Scrum approach

  • Min of 4 years in Sprint Team Management and project management experience

  • Experience in organizing development/testing teams and in developing solutions in Oracle, CLM, BPM based solutions. Additionally, familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: XML, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, VMware, client-server, Object Oriented Development, Continuous integration, Automated testing, UML, Class diagrams, n-tier solutions

  • Experience in managing Test team or coordinating Test team with continuous integration tools and environments and automated testing tools like Oracle Test suite or HR Quality Centre, LoadRunner, etc.

  • Conduct code reviewed and help Developers organize the work and write and manage Engineering Best Practices

  • Ability to identify and manage risk.

  • Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form

  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team

  • With a total Ten (10+) years related IT experience, with 6 or more years hands-on analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using COTS and GOTS based solutions and four (4) years Agile implementation

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Technical Certifications, such as Scrum Master/EVM/Project Management

  • Experience using Microsoft TFS and VersionOne Agile project tools

  • Experience designing, implementing and testing web services and n-tier web-based

  • Experience with Perl and other scripting languages.

  • Experience with messaging platforms.

  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

  • Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in finding defects while conducting tests to the complex Software COTS-based solution management.
