CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Requirements Engineer to join our team in the Northern Virginia area.
What You’ll Get to Do :
You will function as a project lead or a team member to develop system requirements that drive systems architecture, architecture of the hardware, communications, data security, messaging, applications, support, performance, and availability.

More About the Role:
The Requirements Engineer should bring a good understanding of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Server Environments, and/or Data Center Operations.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Establishing/maintaining the requirements repository
Monitoring/controlling the project requirements management process
Collaborating with customers, engineers, and software developers to elicit/capture and document appropriate system requirements for the design solutions and distributed system architecture
Identifying systems data, hardware, and software components required to meet user needs
Establishing functional or systems standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed
Generating the required artifacts to capture, categorize, disposition, verify/validate, and provide traceability of the system requirements
Capturing requirements changes and providing requirements-related progress updates/reports
Providing technical guidance for requirements management process improvements
Ability to prioritize mission-critical projects and tasks, and coordinate the construction and expansion of the customers systems
This position may involve up to 10% travel; both CONUS & OCONUS (non-combat zone)
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (current)
BA/BS Degree and 10 years of job-related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven record of managing requirements baselines and serving as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders
Strong experience with translating program objectives and customer requirements into system requirements, performing functional decomposition, and generating relevant requirements management documentation and artifacts
Skilled with managing requirements to ensure proper requirements traceability, verification and validation, and acceptance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :
Experience managing requirements for implementing new data center solutions
Experience with intelligence community security protocols
Experience with Nlyte suite of software tools: NAO, NEO, N-SUM
Experience with software tools that provide workflows to manage assets such as Maximo and/or ServiceNow.
Development, systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, or distributed system architectures
Documenting design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information
