CACI International SCCM Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI provides a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI supports TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
What You’ll Get to Do:Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 3 and Engineering daily support and administration of an SCCM 2012 infrastructure, running an Active Directory infrastructure that supports multiple Microsoft based networks spanning multiple security enclaves. This includes a high number of domain controllers and supporting services like federation (ADFS), Group Policies, working with an RBAC model, implementing and modifying complex PowerShell scripts, identifying inefficiencies and providing solutions. The candidate will be working the Engineering Deployment Services team which is responsible for remotely managing all workstations, laptops and servers using SCCM for a couple of Microsoft based networks and domains, as well as various other external entities on implementations and integration of new and existing projects as needed. This Senior Level Engineer should be well versed in the foundations that make up a large Mission IT network 24x7x365 both CONUS and OCONUS. More About the Role:
Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in SCCM
Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues
Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center
Administer the SCCM tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to the core components and settings, software delivery, client heath, reporting, boundaries, and bandwidth settings
Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy
Perform general SCCM administration and troubleshooting
Create, manage, and administer SCCM software packages and deployments
Candidates should have a firm knowledge/understanding of:
Active Directory Multi Forest Management within Trusts
Active Directory Federation Services
Group Policy Management, Troubleshooting, Design
DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP, RBAC, PKI
Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
Bachelor’s degree, and 5-10 years of relevant experience
3-5 years of current experience working as a SMS/SCCM administrator
Advance SCCM skill set and ability to use and administer the toolset without assistance and/or additional training
Experience performing SCCM administrator responsibilities, which include software import and deployment process
Skills in reading log files
Ability to learn new concepts very quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication
Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality – The environment is highly dynamic
Ability to organize and plan work independently
MTA, MCSA, and/or MVP certifications a plus
High level of performance with strong multitasking abilities
Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
ITIL v4 certification required within 90 days of hire
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Relevant DHS focused experience
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
