CACI International SCRUM Master in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI International is seeking a high caliber Senior Scrum Master in the Chantilly, VA area. This is an immediate hire position within a US government contract that is on the forefront of modern Agile best practices. As the Sr. Scrum Master, you will inspire and empower collaborative teams to deliver quality, innovative, and highly scalable web-based applications to end clients. The ideal Sr. Scrum Master will have prior experience coaching teams and other Scrum Masters on Agile best practices, processes, and tools.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices
Responsible for facilitating scrum events, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
Knowledge of software development processes and procedures
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, working to keep the key stakeholders engaged in the development process
Using the Atlassian ToolSuite; JIRA and Confluence specifically
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly required
1+ year for a software development team that applied Scrum principles, practices, and theory in a Scrum Master role
Experience with ITSM principles and ITIL Best practices
Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Required software development and release management experience
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
SCRUM Master Certification
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
Applicable knowledge of Service Now
The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach
