CACI International Senior Business Development Executive - Financial Management Markets in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is searching for an established Business Development Executive (BDE) with a successful track record in identifying and qualifying Federal Civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) opportunities in the areas of Financial Management. Financial Management is defined as all government business operations in the areas of Budget Formulation, Budget Execution, General Ledger Accounting, Assets Management, Acquisition Management, Procurement to Payment, Grants Management, Receivables, Payables, Financial Reporting, Auditing and Compliance, and Governance. As a Business Development Executive, you will be report to a Senior Business Development Executive and be responsible for identifying and winning new business contracts of $40M+ on an annual basis. You will work closely with the Senior Business Development Executive to develop an overall Campaign Strategy and plan to focus on positioning and capturing new business contracts.
You will be based at our state of the art Westfields, Chantilly Virginia location and can expect to spend 25% of your time on business travel within the continental United States.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Build and Quality an ESS Financial Management market new business pipeline:
Research all available avenues to identify ESS Finance opportunities. These can include Federal customer visits and communications, FBO, Govwin, Federal Conferences and partner relationships.
Ensure that all opportunities identified are in alignment with Market Roadmaps for the ESS Finance Market.
Establish Customer In-Person Call Plans for all assigned opportunities.
Execute Customer In-Person Call Plans by visiting and documenting all in-office client meetings for each assigned opportunity (Note: initial In-Person Call Meeting can be held without Capture, Line Delivery, or SA support. Subsequent In-Person Call Meetings must be held with appropriate support from Capture, Line Delivery, or Solution Architect).
Build Competitor’s Analysis to identify competition for each assigned opportunity as well as their strengths and weaknesses.
Work with the Finance Business Development Lead, and the Finance OGM to determine which opportunities will be pursued as Plan A and Plan B.
Conduct Milestone Zero within 30 days after initial In-Person Call Meeting has been executed and the opportunity aligns with the Finance Market Roadmap.
Conduct Milestone 1 within 45 days after Milestone Zero for each assigned opportunity that aligns with the ESS Finance Market Roadmap with the OGM and then with the BGM as defined by the approval signature thresholds.
Collaborate with Line Delivery and support Milestone 2/3/4/5 packages.
Work with Finance Business Development Lead, Capture, and Line Delivery to establish B&P requests for Plan A and Plan B opportunities.
Update CES-Sales appropriately for each level of customer engagement and/or Milestone achievement.
Support Captures and Proposals:
Primary focus is to maintain continuity throughout BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win contracts.
Actively and regularly engage capture and proposal teams for assigned opportunities well in advance of RFPs.
Assist in capture plan development.
Collaborate and co-produce Milestone 2/3/4/5 packages. Ensure no drop-off after handing off to later BD lifecycle phases.
Ensure “Voice of the Customer” is clearly and accurately articulated in proposals. Actively participate in proposal development activities to ensure all customer needs and hot buttons are addressed and that the appropriate customer culture and vocabulary is represented.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
10+ years performing Business Development activities
A background in leading and or supporting Federal Civilian and/or DoD Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations and sustainment, as you will be required to understand client requirements and concerns, and position CACI ERP capabilities to best resolve client requirements
Understanding of the Federal Civilian and DoD Financial business processes and the Commercial Off the Shelf products (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Momentum, PeopleSoft) that are often selected to deliver these capabilities.
