CACI International Senior Project Manager (Technical) in Chantilly, Virginia
The CDM Program is managed within the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate, (NPPD)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI Program Manager, you will report to the Cyber Architect and will manage a large shared-services team of experienced Engineering, Architecture, Information Assurance, and Testing professionals and managers. You will be responsible for the program execution of a shared services organization supporting multiple large contracts.
Provide initial management and service delivery execution of the shared services group.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group and work with other senior leaders for the continuous improvement of the program
Develop staffing plan response for projects to align with design, engineering and deployment schedule, planning and reconciliation of planned staff hours across multiple concurrent projects and teams.
Responsible for the performance of a technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Responsible for the employment, training, coaching, mentoring, motivation, discipline and performance plans and evaluations of assigned employees.
Responsible for program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.
Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
Develops performance plans and evaluations of employees.
Identify bottlenecks in processes, issues within capabilities/programs and keep all affected Project Managers and senior management informed.
Prepare and/or deliver presentations for planning and execution.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be clearable to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) EOD clearance
U.S. Citizenship Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience and a minimum of 7 years of experience relevant to Program Management, Deputy PM, Lead or comparable experience.
Technical leadership experience
Demonstrated experience with business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Demonstrated experience directing daily operations of a team to include analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Excellent presentation development and briefing skills
Relevant DHS Management focused experience
Experience in NIST RMF or CDM Framework
Program Management Professional (PMP) certified
