CACI seeks a talented C++/DSP Software Engineer in Chantilly, VA. You will work with a fast-paced, technically diverse team that develops and supports infrastructure for software-based signal processing applications on future electronic warfare systems. You will participate in full IT Systems Development Life Cycle with a focus on development, integration, and maintenance of new and existing Mission Systems. You will support design and implementation of new capabilities to monitor, maintain, and support the mission such as Change/Baseline Management processes and tools, Health and Status monitoring and reporting, and contributing to the evolution of the electronic warfare enterprise. You will install and patch Enterprise Linux baselines, configure and manage diverse hardware, implement security hardening, troubleshoot operational issues, and create and maintain required documentation. You will interface with and support internal engineering and development teams.

More About the Role:

Design, develop, debug, and test of signal processing algorithms and software running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions.

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software and DSP applications

  • Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems

  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

  • Development of analytic signal processing tools

  • Some travel may be required (10%)

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related experience as a C++/DSP Software Engineer

  • A background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory

  • Experience programming in either Python, Java, C++ or any object-oriented or functional language

  • Linux software development experience

  • Active Top Secret Clearance (with active or ability to obtain SCI)

  • Masters Degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or 10 additional years of experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of software defined radio systems: receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation; techniques, spectral analysis

  • Works well in a small team environment.

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Graduate of Cryptologic Signals Collection and processing course. (450, 451, or 452)

  • Knowledge of geolocation and DF algorithms

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
