More About the Role: CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Software Engineer who will develop code, innovative design, web applications, and services from concept to completion. As a Software Engineer, you will also provide development support and programming support to projects and infrastructure support activities in an enterprise Web environment. Additionally, you will develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • May manage websites, including develop and deploy and maintain activities

  • Performing testing and quality assurance (QA) of web sites and web applications

  • Developing database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, data manipulation techniques, data visualization techniques, and directory services

  • Performing or directing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

  • Contributing to instructions or manuals to guide end users

  • Investigating whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (active / in-scope)

  • Demonstrated experience developing code, testing, and debugging of new software

  • Demonstrated experience with Java development skills

  • Ability to learn Infrastructure as Code practices

  • Understanding of block diagrams and logic flow charts

  • Familiarity with some of the following technologies:

  • Angular

  • Java

  • JavaScript

  • Spring

  • Spring Boot

  • Elasticsearch

  • Python

  • Microservices

  • HTML

  • CSS


  • Working knowledge of modern coding practices, including development methodologies, test driven development, continuous integration, and proper code documentation

  • Ability to participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including gathering specs, analysis, design, development, quality assurance (QA), and testing and debugging

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Candidate must have one of the following:

  • 6 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 4 Years of job related experience and Associates degree

  • 2-3 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 Year of job related experience and Master’s degree

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with front-end and back-end development

  • Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS)

  • Core hours: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
