CACI International Software Engineering Lead in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States.
CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.
CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Work on Application Hosting Windows team
Manage VMware environment and hosting of virtual machines as well as supporting TSA IMPACT Desktop platform with other storage systems.
Implement, support and maintain enterprise-class open system software platforms for the customer, and assure them that their systems and users can work continuously with their hosted applications in a convenient, reliable and secure manner.
Perform Group Policy, Active Directory, O&M tasks, Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 server administration, backup and recovery functions, and patching of Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 servers.
Perform backup and recovery procedures using the Symantec NetBackup and Backup Exec software including agent installation, backup job creation and scheduling, coordination of offsite tape storage, and data recovery.
Support web applications and perform management and configuration for both test and production environments.
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database environments.
Manage and implement other related technical support needed for the TSA IMPACT program.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with related experience.
Experience working with Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 server administration, backup and recovery functions, and patching of Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 servers.
Experience supporting web applications, performing management and configuration for both test and production environments.
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
These Qualification Would be Nice to Have:
Security+ or higher 8570 certifications.
AWS or AZURE Certification.
Prior DHS experience.
