CACI is looking for a Product Architect to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

More About the Role:

  • As a technical lead for an agile team, you are responsible for all aspects of application/module architecture including user interface, APIs, microservices, databases and infrastructure

  • Maintain sound understanding of enterprise and platform level architecture

  • Liaison with business analysts to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise and platform level architecture and standards

  • Present and evangelize the solution to architecture guilds and management

  • Work with business analysts and scrum master to create implementation/development plan for new features/applications/solutions by developing epics and stories

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies by leading in all technical aspects, including leading the demos to the Product Owner and all applicable stakeholders

  • Evangelize the developed solution to team members and work with team members to breakup stories into tasks and assist in completion of tasks in timely fashion

  • Motivating developers, testers and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments

  • Delegating tasks and ensuring all daily, sprint and release goals are achieved

  • Performs Architecture design and reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state and strategic plans

  • Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns

  • Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases

  • Develop product teams technical skills through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A strong interest in agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CloudBees, or Bamboo

  • Experience in systems development, systems integration, application design and/or legacy

  • Experience in the agile management framework

  • Good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions

  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills

  • Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery

  • Familiarity with the following: Hibernate (or other ORM), Angular, Spring, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Eclipse, maven, jUnit, and shell scripting.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 10 - 15 Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).

  • 3+ years’ experience in incremental software development projects such as the Agile Scrum approach

  • Professional experience operating within cross-functional teams and groups

  • An active DoD secret clearance

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator

  • Certified ServiceNow Developer

  • Certified Implementation Specialist

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ability to contribute to the development of program architecture and standards

  • Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as well as SecDevOps processes and tools

  • Knowledge in implementing transition plan for migrating from a legacy system to a new system

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
