CACI International SPS Technical Subject Matter Expert in Chantilly, Virginia
As a member of the Standard Procurement System (SPS) Army Response Team, candidate will serve as a Technical subject matter expert on the DoD Standard Procurement System (SPS). Services include maintaining the Army Consolidated SPS environment as part of the System Administration team. This includes technical troubleshooting of the fielded SPS software and analyzing complex problems in terms of procurement processes and conceptualizing problem resolutions that afford maximum effectiveness to the user community. Assist with Army SPS upgrades and software implementations as scheduled. Minimal travel to Army sites may be required.
More About the Role
Must have the knowledge of implementation and support lifecycle of the Standard Procurement System (SPS), particularly it is deployed within the Army. Capability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues across a wide spectrum of technologies including, but not limited to: PD², PD² Adapter, Sybase ASE, PowerBuilder, webMethods Integration Server, Citrix XenApp, Citrix Provisioning Server, VMware, MS SQL Server, MS Windows Server, and Sun Solaris. Dedicated resource familiar with ITIL framework and its application to the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD). In-depth knowledge of the SPS program including functional and technical architecture, system administration, and training methodologies. Serve as communications specialist with organization change management, training, and effective knowledge management skills that can be leveraged across all the knowledge management and content development needs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience overseeing of SPS enterprise implementations or its underlying technology components (e.g., SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, web Methods Integration and Broker Server technologies)
Resources expected to participate in the technical administration of the Government system shall be required to meet the certification requirements in AR 25-1 and AR 25-2. These regulations require personnel with elevated privileges of a government system or network to possess the Security+ certification AND a secondary certification in a relevant technology field (such as the GSLC, GISF, CAP, TIA Net+, A+, Network+, or SSCP certifications). Additionally, the resources shall be required to take Malicious Code training available on a Government website (currently provided by Skillport) within 90 days of contract award.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Ideal experience includes government contract writing, PD² or other Acquisition System experience, and familiarity with regulatory guidance (FAR & DFARs). Candidate should possess superior client management and communication skills, both written and verbal. Measurable experience in, and demonstrated knowledge of, Government contracting and administration, commercial purchasing, or related fields. Extensive knowledge of government acquisition policies and procedures, including all applicable regulations. Completion of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II certification requirements a plus.
