Job Description

CACI is looking for a junior/mid-level Systems Administrator to provide hands-on support and subject matter expertise in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities will involve Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and system engineering support to two government agency’s financial management and ERP systems. The individual will provide a full range of support services required to effectively operate, maintain, and perform software and system fixes for the applications, operating systems, and other elements under the purview of the organization. Duties will include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting; integrating; installation; configuring; upgrading; operating and maintaining; documenting; and system administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Systems Administration of servers which includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications/databases running on them in virtual environments

  • Working collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent and efficient approaches for development and production infrastructure.

  • Building AWS-based services supporting production IaaS and SaaS platforms.

  • Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.

  • Streamlining and automating operations and process.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in test, development, and production environments.

  • Contribute in enterprise IT architectural and engineering efforts and recommend new strategies during IT program and organizational reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline as described in the Duties and Responsibilities section above.

  • Experience with Linux or other UNIX Administration and/or with Windows Administration

  • Knowledge and experience in Windows and/or UNIX scripting, automation, and architecture.

  • Understanding of configuration management practices.

  • Experience in virtualized environments such as AWS a plus.
