What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a System Administrator to work with a focused and fun team to engineer, build, deploy, and maintain multiple environments for the purpose of development, testing, and production hosting of custom web applications on behalf of a Government customer. The current hosting environment utilizes Windows within Amazon Web Services. We are looking for an ambitious system administrator to help migrate that environment to Linux and/or employ Docker and Kubernetes as a solution.

More About the Role:

  • Comfortable with leading a process of migrating the customer's hosting environment from Windows to Linux and/or other container-based platform.

  • Contribute to application and database migration activities.

  • Develop scripts for automation of build-out, maintenance, and configuration of virtualized systems.

  • Deployment of updates, IAVA patches, and Anti-Virus updates.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and communications problems.

  • Maintains web application hosting system to include web servers, database servers, and associated development systems (e.g. IIS, WordPress, RDS Database).

  • Working knowledge or familiarity of Amazon Web Services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and ELB.

  • Maintains system reliability and uptime of production applications by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

  • Contributes to system configuration management in accordance with contract inventory and customer requirements.

  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation including process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system documentation.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Bachelor's and 5+ years of experience

  • Security+ Certification (IAT level 2 or higher)

  • Strong experience with Linux, and Apache General knowledge of administering servers in an AWS environment Ability to manage multiple priority tasks

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Deploying, managing, maintaining, and operating container-based platform environments based on Docker and/or Kubernetes technologies.

  • Experience with administering Windows

  • Experience administering and supporting databases such as MySQL WordPress and PHP Familiarity JIRA familiarity Knowledge of DNS, PKI and Certificates PowerShell Scripting Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Systems administration AWS Certification (AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
