What You’ll Get to Do:
As a System Engineer you will work in the Sponsor's IT environment (architecture, applications, technologies and infrastructure).You will work closely with the Sponsor's Staff Program Manager for Authentication services.
More About the Role:
You may support additional customer initiatives such as converging technical solutions, transition strategies for existing customers, and support for the evolution of the Program's operating capabilities. You will interact with a wide variety of customers, groups and service providers to understand customer needs, assess enterprise capabilities that fulfill those needs, and ensure that delivered services/solutions not only fulfill the customer needs but that do so in compliance with the Sponsor's governance processes and will also be a major part of team building and partner relationships within the group.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BA/BS and 7+ years of related experience
TS/SCI w/ poly
Demonstrated experience in a large-scale or Enterprise-level environment to develop, customize, or integrate COTS solutions consistent with mission requirements
Demonstrated experience performing as a lead tactical and strategic technical integrator to research and integrate design strategies, product specifications, compliance standards, and user expectations into delivered capabilities
Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing the full range architectural and engineering and associated program documentation
Demonstrated experience in automating backup operations and data protection strategies
Demonstrated experience with DevOps components such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Artifactory
Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies such as sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, work backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria and story refinement/clarification
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Demonstrated experience delivering integrated solutions in enclaves and across disparate networks
Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's Assessment and Authorization process
Demonstrated experience with AWS services and technologies and supporting applications in a cloud environment
Demonstrated experience hardening, securing, and automating the deployment of Windows or Linux environments
Demonstrated experience working with the Sponsor's auditing and monitoring tools and processes to include tuning and extending automation on top of monitoring applications such as Nagios or Cloudwatch
Demonstrated experience with automated testing procedures
Demonstrated experience with event correlation and root cause analysis skills
