Job Description

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer / Architect with expertise in software and network architectural design, development, and deployment of enterprise systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Setup a new implementation of the NLyte software solution for Data Center Infrastructure Management.

  • Implementation of the NLyte Software will train CACI employees on how to use and implement the application across 7 data centers for our customer.

  • Architect, develop, engineer, maintain, and provide continuous sustainment of enterprise-level communications in support of the customer’s mission worldwide.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

As a Systems / Network Engineer / Architect, you will function as a project lead or member to evaluate and make tactical and strategic recommendations for the systems architecture, architecture of the hardware, communications, data security, messaging, applications, support, performance, and availability

  • The candidate must have a TS/SCI with a Poly

  • Should have a good understanding of DCIM, Server Environments or Data Center Operations.

  • Performing systems administration, maintenance, and engineering in primarily Linux and Microsoft Windows Server environments

  • Collaborating with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of systems components

  • Developing systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, or distributed systems architectures

  • Documenting design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information

  • Establishing functional or systems standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed

  • Identifying systems data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs

  • Investigating systems component suitability for specified purposes and making recommendations regarding component use

  • Performing ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software

  • Performing security analysis of developed or packaged software components

  • Providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems

  • Verifying stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of systems architecture

  • Ability to define systems solutions and configurations based on user and client needs, required integration with existing applications, systems, and/or platforms

  • Ability to prioritize mission-critical projects and tasks, and coordinate the construction and expansion of the customer’s systems

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience implementing new solutions

  • Experience with Intelligence community security protocols

  • Experience with the NLyte suite of software tools

  • Maximo, ServiceNow, and Nlyte

  • Development, systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, or distributed system architectures

  • Documenting design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information
