What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer who will assist with program team developing, maintaining, and deploying a group of highly complex web applications.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Developing and implementing web applications and/or services utilizing object-oriented programming with a focus on building RESTful services to support the user interface, the middle tier, as well as implementing support for data connectors
Developing and maintaining baselines for infrastructure components, such as monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios and AppDynamics), network load balancers, and Linux OS
Responding to operational tickets and monitoring alerts and events
Establishing processes and procedures to ensure repeatability and consistency in maintaining the infrastructure baseline
Configuring, installing, and maintaining audit solutions
Assisting in the investigation, design, and development of solutions to limit and eliminate customer downtime during deployments
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with SecDevOps processes and continuous delivery systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CloudWatch, Docker, etc.)
Demonstrated experience or certification in cloud technologies creating self-healing and auto scaling systems
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Nagios as an application monitoring solution
Demonstrated o-the-job experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing network load balancing solutions across servers (e.g., Microsoft Windows and Linus OSs), and web applications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
