What You'll Get To Do:
Assist in reviewing, defining, and clarifying operational requirements.
Assist in researching, analyzing, and recommending complex technical operational approaches, processes/procedures, and equipment/systems.
Identify technical and operational constraints and methodologies relating alternatives, solutions, and risks.
Develop routine proposals incorporating appropriate technical and operational issues into a plan based on consensus.
Write correspondence and coordinate with participants regarding operational plans, vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, possible remedies, or execution plans. When appropriate, prepare intelligence reports following guidelines.
Analyze operational environment to identify appropriate equipment/systems required to meet operational needs.
Provide operational input to ongoing development of new systems.
Devise new techniques by applying technical capabilities in innovative scenarios.
Coordinate support needs for travel, cash advances, logistics procurement, etc.
Assess readiness of newly acquired systems to ensure operational requirements are met.
Provide technical feedback to ongoing development activities.
Provide cost estimates for operational procurements when requested.
Travel - 2 trips annually expected
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
10+ year of experience in developing operational plans and gaining approval to execute, briefing options and risks, understanding technical aspects of plans, collaborating across community as necessary.
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with required Polygraph clearance.
Must have demonstrated experience conducting TIO/Technical Operations (planning, execution and documentation)
Demonstrated ability to integrate into a multi-discipline team and take a team-based approach to solving complex IC problems
Must have field experience; must be well traveled.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex mission critical ideas to audiences with varied technical and levels of seniority.
Demonstrated technical experience in computer and network operating systems (Windows, Linux, OSX, Citrix); hardware/network management tools, and protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, TLS/SSL)
Basic working knowledge of wireless communication technology to include WiFi, Bluetooth, RF
Basic working knowledge of network security concepts and the application of the concepts in SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) and Enterprise Networks
Basic working knowledge in the creation and application of IP-based VPNs
Basic working knowledge of computer network infrastructure devices (routers, switches) and the application of those devices in enterprise networks.
Must have understanding of efforts that cross multiple CLINS
