What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Technical Writer on CACI's CDM program, you are responsible for producing, proof-reading, editing, and formatting technical documentation to include design specifications, manuals, on-line help, procedures, plans, and proposals to support CACI’s CDM cybersecurity efforts.

You'll edit and format information for consumption through various media channels to include printed materials, scripted voice content, email, websites, and other electronic access points as well ensuring entry into the CDM Master Repository. You will also gather information, interview subject matter experts, and conduct other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

More About the Role:

  • Captures and maintains project knowledge materials during transition

  • Oversees and manages repository for all SELC documentation and program artifacts

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all CACI program and DHS-specific templates

  • Organizes, writes, edits and produces technical documentation per project standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology

  • Observes subject matter experts, participates in software demonstration sessions, and documents results

  • Participates in the establishment of guidelines and standards for text and graphics

  • Conducts research on the subject matter including observing subject matter experts, participating in software demonstrations and documenting results

  • Coordinates the quality-control activities required to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of each publication, including in-process and final reviews, editing for compliance with all applicable specifications and standards, validation, and change verification that quality publications are produced

  • Ensures documentation complies with all applicable specifications, standards, and other project constraints

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Good communications skills

  • Works well in team environment

  • 2-3 years of experience with MS-Office Product Suite

  • Relevant experience technical writing

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Cybersecurity relevant experience

  • Relevant DHS or .Gov Cyber Security focused experience

  • BS and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
