CACI is currently looking for an experienced Test Director to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. What You’ll Get to Do:

As the program Test Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of test and evaluation of a complex developmental SIGINT and Electronic Warfare system. You will be working within multi-disciplinary hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis/collection teams who are creating systems in support of the Department of Defense and other Intelligence Community agencies. This role will work directly with the customer on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for developing the program Master Test Plan, individual Hardware and Software Test Plans and Procedures; developing integration procedures and scheduling all test-related events while leading a team of test engineers in its execution to ensure that the systems meet all performance and functional requirements, prior to delivery, to our customer.

More About the Role:

  • Define and develop test standards for the testing of equipment or systems in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

  • Review and evaluate complex test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed.

  • Determine optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions to assure compliance with applicable specifications.

  • Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.

  • Combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

  • Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.

  • Coordinate integrated testing activities, reviews and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program; perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.

  • Manages, Mentors, Leads, directs, and reviews the work of a team of new and journeyman test engineers and understands when to authorized the execution of latitude and independence in their assignments.

  • Leads Test and / or Software Engineers in development Test Automation applications.

  • Manages a team with a focus on policy, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day deliverables.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required along with active TS/SCI security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Software, Math, Physics) from an accredited University with minimum 10+ years of professional experience ideally with DoD organization or Contractor and of them in managing a team

  • Experience leading team of test engineers executing the full span of development, integration, test, and evaluation activities for complex EW/SIGINT weapon systems

  • Experience developing test plans and procedures for developmental complex EW/SIGINT weapon systems, including program Master Test Plan

  • Experience leading Software or Systems Engineering teams across multiple products as part of an EW / SIGINT development or sustainment weapon system.

  • Experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing processes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Former SIGINT system operator (preferably US Navy surface)

  • Experience with shipboard system testing, including functional testing and system calibration

  • Experience with complex weapon system test design

  • Experience developing production test plans and procedures for complex EW/SIGINT weapon systems

  • Experience with Functional Configuration Audits/Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA)

  • Experience as a Chief Engineer / Deputy Chief Engineer for an EW / SIGINT weapon system

  • Familiarity with requirements tools, e.g. DOORS, MBSE tools, e.g. Cameo EA, Atlassian products, e.g. Jira and Confluence

  • Experience in coordinating and conducting Information Assurance testing; application of RMF and STIGs for EW / SIGINT weapons systems

  • Experience working in, managing, and/or reporting on an EVMS program

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
