CACI International Testing Operations Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
More About the Role:
The Testing Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting issues related TSA’s Development Test Environment (DTE) and Integrated Test Environment (ITE).. They will support highly complex systems including integration, security, and high-level server administration. Daily tasks include sustainment of the underlying infrastructure and services of both DTE and ITE, as well as for implementing required Development and/or Testing infrastructure as required by application teams, in accordance with establish TSA application architectures, and for coordinating the deployment of new applications or application updates into the ITE as required for application testing, in accordance with written implementation procedures. Leverage enterprise IT technical background to troubleshoot Microsoft or Red Had Linux server issues in accordance with established SLAs for incident response and recovery.
Work with program, project and engineering managers to mitigate operational and technical risks, as well as to coordinate required changes/deployments to DTE/ITE environments in accordance with established project schedules
Perform daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc maintenance and sustainment of DTE/ITE infrastructure and services to meet established SLAs for availability and performance of DTE/ITE infrastructure.
Handling server performance and security issues as reactive and proactive work
Handling infrastructure issues such as replication issues, DFS configuration or server recovery
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while exhibiting a personable, polite and patient behavior
Be responsive and decisive on adjusting architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolves
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or 5 years of equivalent work experience
Candidate must have experience in system administration across a broad array of technologies to include Windows 10, Windows 2003/2008, 2012 and 2016, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory administration in a large enterprise environment
Candidates with a current (Windows 2008 or later) MCP, MCSA, or MCSE are highly preferred
Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal
