CACI International WebEOC Lead in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
The Web Emergency Operation Center Crisis Information (WebEOC) Lead is responsible for planning and coordinating all activities related to requirements gathering, analysis, design, development and implementation of TSA’s WebEOC application. The WebEOC Lead will also be responsible for maintaining, supporting and upgrading TSA’s WebEOC application. The candidate will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices on issues related to the design, development and deployment of this mission-critical information and software system. The WebEOC Lead must be able to clearly communicate both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. Strong interpersonal skills are required due to continual interaction with clients, managers, and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment. Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and deployment system software and/or enhancements and analysis to WebEOC. The candidate will also ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve systems issues; provide story points, lead pre-testing phase of development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas and make the appropriate recommendations; collaborate with analysts, DBAs, Project Leads, designers and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications for quality assurance, program logic and data processing.
Operate within an Agile development team
Responsible for coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process and will provide full lifecycle support in maintaining and enhancing TSA's WebEOC application
Serves as technical lead, and assists with project management responsibilities as needed
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years related work experience
Must have knowledge and experience in agile sprint process
Direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
Direct experience releasing applications built on Microsoft IIS and SQL, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x and Oracle.
Extensive experience working in an Agile based development environment, utilizing SCRUM, Kanban, providing Story Points.
Extensive experience configuring Internet Information Services (IIS), and managing Cluster environment.
Experience interfacing front-end applications with MS SQL Server 2012/2008 R2 and Oracle 11g/12c.
Proven communicator and leader. Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal
Detail oriented – must be able to recognize critical elements of successful engineering operations and hold themselves and their teams accountable for meeting those critical elements
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
