What You’ll Get to Do

As part of a new team at Bluestone Analytics (A CACI Company), team members will work collaboratively to develop and contribute to a variety of Dark Web operations. As a Cloud Engineer , you will leverage your skills in a variety of ways to make meaningful contributions to our team. This position supports work on a 1-year contract with possibility for an extension of up to 5 years.

  • Deliver incredible solutions to solve difficult national security and law enforcement problems.

  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Learn new things by working hands-on with unique technical environments you won’t get to see anywhere else.

  • Build and manage infrastructure for client operations using a wide range of technologies across the stack, including Terraform, Ansible, VMWare, and AWS

  • Support integrations with various cloud environments and other toolsets

  • Perform systems administration functions like configuring and building OS images, security hardening, web server configurations, and maintenance and debugging

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2-5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, system administration, or network engineering roles.

  • U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

  • Strong experience with AWS services, VMWare/VxRails, Linux-based infrastructures, and Linux/Unix administration.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch.

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and tools for automation and configuration (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).

  • Great debugging skills – you don’t give up on problems.

  • Familiarity with web application architectures.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Active Public Trust security clearance or higher.

  • Understanding of basic networking principles like the OSI model, TCP/IP connections, load balancers, web hosting, and proxies.

  • Back-end software development experience or interest, for example with Python

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
