CACI is seeking a Sociologist / Political Scientist (Mid) to perform and manage the production of various products in coordination with project and program leadership. This position will leverage and apply sociology or political science expertise to developing foreign weapon technologies, combat environments, tactics, policies, priorities, culture, and decisions to develop comprehensive assessments of intentions and capabilities, limitations, and/or vulnerabilities of military systems and technologies.
Apply expertise and analysis on how and when state or non-state actors will integrate scientific and technically capable ground force weapons into their force structure.
Determine probabilities of encountering weapons systems and the risk this poses to US force capabilities as well as how or when these may be used against those forces in warfare.
Review GEOINT and technical evaluations of training events/exercise for determination of system employment/TTPs/doctrine, and capabilities, vulnerabilities, and limitations of those weapons, force structures, and spatial laydowns.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
BA/BS degree in a related scientific field (Sociology, Political Science)
3+ years of experience as a Soc on DoD related programs and projects.
Active in scope DoD TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph
Ability to conduct analysis and produce comprehensive technical assessments that include independent research and technical writing.
Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on research objectives defined by the client.
