CACI International Database Administrator in Chesapeake, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is looking for a Database Administrator II to support a key program based in Chesapeake, VA as part of our Enterprise Solutions & Services team.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide documentation for and provide support with maintenance of policies and procedures outlined in the applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and other relevant documents.

  • Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances.

  • Setup a Test, Development, Staging and Production Environment.

  • Create Users and Assign Database Permissions.

  • Design Incident Recovery Plan (Database Backup and Recovery Planning).

  • Database Monitoring (Database Performance, Scheduled Jobs, and Database Backup Jobs).

  • Recovery of Database Backups for Testing and Development Requests.

  • Troubleshoot Performance Issues (Database Settings, optimizing queries, Altering Indexes, ETL Development, etc.).

  • Troubleshoot Server, Network, or User Connectivity Issues.

  • Development (Creating new tables, new indexes, new stored procedures, new jobs, etc.).

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • 8570 Certification Level II (Security + CE)

  • Active DOD Secret clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • MCSE Certified
