CACI International Functional Product Lead- MSC Logistic System in Chesapeake, Virginia
CACI is seeking a Functional Product Lead – MSC Logistic System in Chesapeake, VA. This is fantastic opportunity for you to provide direction and oversight responsible for the maintenance and sustainment of Military Sealift Command Logistic Systems
What you’ll Get to do:
Perform as logistic Subject Matter Expert and be responsible for the Functional analysis, solutioning and assisting with Implementation and support.
Perform lifecycle methodologies to include release planning based on prioritized backlog and product needs, to submit baseline plans and deliverables, perform and report baseline progress, identify and document scope change, identify and mitigate issues and risks.
Responsible for supporting MSC Business System for logistics and coordinate with DevSecOps competency leads within a matrixed organization
Play a senior role in the analysis, design and assist development efforts in the logistic space with a primarily focusing on solutions
Lead the discussion in applying current technologies to solve complex implementation issues and development challenges
Collaboration with business stakeholders, N61 Integrated Product Teams(IPT) and other cross functional team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing related technologies
Assist with Business Intelligence initiatives for Data Management and Reporting Solutions
Understand and perform interface support of Corrective Maintenance Logistics Systems (CMLS), Food Service Management(FSM) and other external requirements.
Support fellow team members through analysis, development and architecture standard improvement/augmentation according to industry best practices
Analyze and identify business functional issues and incidents by MSC service desk personal and implement a solution
Provide end-user support for system customizations
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Provide mentorship and training of other developers on processes and tools
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical degree or equivalent to ten to twelve years of related experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.
Five years of experience in software/systems development and implementation
Strong knowledge of MSC Business Systems for Ashore and Afloat operations.
Experience leading software development/maintenance teams
Knowledge of CMMI for Development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to bridge communications between technical and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations.
Ability to work in a team environment
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
These Qualifications would be nice to have:
Experience with DOD systems development environment
Experience with Agile development processes
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
