CACI International Project Scheduler and Technical Manager in Chesapeake, Virginia
CACI is looking for a Technical Project Manager to support a key program based in Chesapeake, VA as part of our Enterprise Solutions & Services team! The successful candidate will work under minimal direction in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall software development environment to oversee and engage in the design, development, and testing of web-based solutions for key Department of Defense business applications. They will actively participate in planning and design sessions and work in close collaboration with customers and a team of business analysts, software, systems, and test engineers.
The ideal candidate will:
Develop requirements and schedules for the software development projects
Facilitate requirements elicitation meetings, status meetings with customers, stakeholders, and Engineering team
Establish schedules and milestones, track risk and issues, and sets and monitors adherence to project scope, develops requirements and design documents, schedules, and other artifacts pertinent to the Software Development Life Cycle process
Assume day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed on time, and that all deliverables are of the highest quality
Work closely with engineers to share best practices, help resolve project issues, and ensure that staff is properly allocated to tasks by considering staff’s skills and interests, and the project’s needs
Maintain client relations and communications including status reporting and informal conversations

B.S. in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related discipline
Active DOD Secret clearance
Eight (8) years of direct work experience with C4ISR DoD, other federal agency IT infrastructure or relevant technical field
Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of Computerized Systems, associated systems and/or subsystems or relevant technical field
Three (3) years as manager of Navy C4ISR programs or task specific project, to include: supervising project personnel, scheduling work, writing proposals and preparing bids, and equipment and material logistics control
Experience managing the development of enterprise web-based business systems and data warehouse platforms
Practical experience utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies, tailored to meet customers’ needs
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurements policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and with a team to resolve problems
A self-starter who will seize and maintain the initiative in ambiguous situations
Experience working with the US Navy, specifically Navy Reserve Forces Command (NAVRESFOR) and Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR)
Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies (.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, etc)
Experience with the management of cloud computing platforms (including Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services)
Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (2017+ preferred)
Experience mentoring team members
