What You’ll Get to Do:
Document Acquisition - Responsible for the receipt and logging of production media received from ATR staff and updating records in LSS’s Case and Media Tracking System, The Data Analyst will prepare documents for scanning, OCR processing, etc., and ensure that files are complete following automation activities.
Electronic Files Processing - The primary responsibilities of the Data Analyst will be file processing, database loading and maintenance, preparing discovery productions for distribution to staff and counsel, ensuring data integrity, applying system updates, and troubleshooting as needed. Prepare discovery productions. Provide Pre-Trial and Post-Trial Support.
Document Processing - In consultation with the ATR staff, Data Analyst staff will scan and OCR the materials. They will perform quality control review of the resulting work-product. Processing choices may have a technical component and there may be a need to assess various technical alternatives.
More About the Role:
Performs tasks as assigned and communicates with the ATR Case Manager as needed.
Performs loading of productions, database indexing, and quality checks of loaded data.
Creates and modifies files as required for loading into Relativity and performs individual file conversions in support of electronic file processing.
Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ATR production specifications, and when deficiencies are found, provides the ATR Case Manager with detailed notice of deficiencies.
Performs advanced tasks related to exporting data from LAW and Relativity databases, including identifying data for export, confirming redactions and other markups were properly made, ensuring that exports comply with applicable ATR production specifications, and quality checking the exported data.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree preferred-preferably in computer science or related field.Detail-oriented and able to ensure the accuracy of data loading, manipulation, and conversion by performing and documenting quality and accuracy checks.
Strong knowledge experience with using litigation software.
Extensive knowledge and experience with database maintenance and data loading in Relativity v10.
Advanced knowledge and experience (2+ years) with LAW 6.0 and LAW PreDiscovery, especially with imaging and OCR, electronic file processing, and the export of Relativity-format load files.
