What You’ll Get to Do :

Responsible for applying configuration management control disciplines to the design, development, and support of software, hardware, and other complex systems. Analyzes tools that support and automate processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's or solution's performance, functional, and technical attributes and its requirements, design, and technical specifications throughout its lifecycle. Develops standards, processes, and controls supporting product/solution configuration and release activities.

More About this Role :

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain configuration-controlled documentation for the SCN configuration including assembly, sub-assembly, and system level BOM structures for sustainment and modification through the CAMMO program. This includes product lifecycle management to include document identification, management of engineering documentation, drawings, vendor information, revision levels, where used, etc.

  • Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's or solution's performance, functional, and technical attributes and its requirements, design, and technical specifications throughout its lifecycle.

  • Analyzes proposed changes to determine effect on overall system. Review and process engineering change proposals (ECP)

  • Administer Engineering Review Board (ERB)/Change Control Board (CCB) documentation and oversee ERB/CCB meetings as necessary to review proposed changes affecting established baselines.

  • Participate in Quality audits as necessary to meet certification requirements. Maintain statistics to support typical audits.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor’s degree with focus in Industrial Engineering, Drafting, Engineering Records, Supply Chain Management or related technical degree and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience. Department of Defense experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Familiarization with Configuration Management Standards

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Self -starter and able to manage multiple competing demands.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing on technical subject matter

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows software applications and other software applications as required

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with project managers, government customers, engineering and logistics staff

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the Satellite Control Network (SCN)

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools (Teamcenter)

  • Configuration Management certification a plus

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
