CACI International Depot Maintainer/Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado
What You’ll Get to Do:
We have a great opportunity for an Depot Operator to support the Consolidated AFSCN Modifications, Maintenance, and Operations (CAMMO) Contract which maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, site support, organizational and depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). You will be responsible for the depot maintenance of AFSCN tracking stations around the world as well as performing testing of the AFSCN ground stations in support of new satellites.
More About the Role:
Perform depot maintenance tasks and responsibilities relating to Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) systems, including removing, repairing, modifying, servicing, and installing various types of electronic components, including but not limited to electronic transmitting, receiving and GPS equipment; assembling, soldering, connecting, and inter-wiring electronic components; performing maintenance, alignment, configuration, and testing of equipment; following engineering drawings, schematics, safety procedures, standards, and technical manuals to accomplish assigned tasks. Corrective maintenance, Program Depot Maintenance (PDM), Emergency Depot Level Maintenance (EDLM), Maintenance Assistance and Factory Compatibility Testing.
Must be familiar with AFSCN operations of Automated Remote Tracking Station (ARTS) and Remote Tracking Station Block Change (RBC) systems.
Assist in site installation tasks. Work well within a team. Follow all safety regulations and maintain training certifications. Position may require travel as well as possible holiday and weekend work
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to repair electronic equipment to the component level. Expertise in the operations of ARTS and/or RBC systems for the AFSCN
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2 or more years AFSCN operations and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems to the component level, including repair of BAU, MDF 10 Demods, BPSK Demods, TRR, LCU, RCU, and MCU equipment items.
