Job Description

CACI is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the Consolidated AFSCN Modifications, Maintenance, and Operations (CAMMO) Contract which maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, site support, organizational and depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). You will share knowledge, perform logistics functions to include but not limited to Spares Analysis, Maintenance planning, item record maintenance, and inventory.

This position will require up to 20% travel.

What You’ll Get to Do:The Logistics Analyst will provide management, customers, and sub-contractors with basic logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems. You will share knowledge, perform logistics functions to include but limited to Spares Analysis, Maintenance planning, item record maintenance, and inventory.More About the Role:

  • Analyzes various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more modification projects.

  • Perform Logistics Analyst functions within the context of a Contractor Support Weapons System (CSWS).

  • Collect, process, and maintain data for analysis and reports. Perform functions in various Databases such as GOLD, SLICwave and other government approved systems.

  • Identify, evaluate and develop procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives. Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.

  • Monitor the external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) in the supply chain, to include, performing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to

  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.

  • Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.

  • Perform, support, and sustain logistics functions to include system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.

  • Plan, schedule, and route imports and exports, to include monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations and ensure customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance.

  • Utilize various analysis tools, such as Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) and Compass.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to lower level analysts as needed.

  • Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures.

  • Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.

  • Assess and maintain compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

  • Manage the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Business Administration from an accredited university/college with six years of experience in military logistics; or Military equivalent training in logistics and eight years of experience.

  • Experience with Contractor Supported Weapons Systems (CSWS) practices and procedures desired.

  • 5+ years performing logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems

  • Experience with Logistics and Supply functions within the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) required.

  • Experience assessing and maintaining compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

  • Willing to travel, current and valid passport

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute against multiple priorities.

  • Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.

  • Familiarity with D143 and D043 Cataloging Processes

  • Experience performing and documenting Maintenance Task Analysis (MTAs)

  • Experience creating Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) and/or Sparing Analysis

  • Experience with Logistics Management Information (LMI) databases such as SLICwave, PowerLog J or EAGLE

  • Experience with GOLD database

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Fluent in the English language including the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant logistics documentation.

  • Advanced level experience and skills operating MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point.

  • Expertise with basic military logistics, supply and maintenance operations.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
