We have a great opportunity for a Senior Range Engineer to support the Consolidated SCN Modifications, Maintenance, and Operations Contract which maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, site support, organizational and depot maintenance, sustainment, engineering, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the Satellite Control Network (SCN). In this position you will support the current and future operations and sustainment model of the SCN.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Candidate, as a subject matter expert, performs a variety of complex mechanical and Radio Frequency (RF) engineering tasks researching, designing, developing, analyzing, evaluating mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems such as motors, gear boxes, control units, servo amplifiers, and RF for satellite ground system antennas. Participates as a team member or lead on teams and provides guidance to less advanced engineers. Engineering activities support both domestic and international services.
Serve as the AFSCN Range Segment technical expert and interface between CACI, the CAMMO customer, and the AFSCN operations community
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically requires a BS in engineering or equivalent + 7 years’ experience
7 years’ experience with:
Satellite ground system antennas
Interfacing with the satellite ground systems operations community and developing solutions to satisfy operations, maintenance, and sustainment requirements
Produce corrective action plans; provide recommendations and management to resolve complex communication engineering issues at the enterprise and segment levels of the AFSCN
Test design and execution
Leading range engineering project teams
DoD/Air Force systems engineering concepts and processes
Proven track record of:
Performing complex engineering tasks of analysis, design, and test
Range engineering proposal support and project management
Review, assessment, and adjudication and Air Force weapon system deficiencies
At least 4 years of experience with at least 2 of the following:
Ground systems antenna RF
Knowledge of satellite tracking stations
Cyber security and RMF requirements
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
