Job Description

About the Role:
Develop and provide non-routine training to educate individual users and using units on the latest operational procedures for systems, subsystems, equipment, and components based on the analysis, development, and redesign the contractor has performed under this TO
Perform maintenance task analysis to identify skill set requirements for operators and maintainers to efficiently, effectively, and safely operate and maintain equipment.
Develop and assess formal or informal non-routine initial training required for operators and maintainers. For formal training, develop syllabus, training lesson plans, and guides. Identify all training aids and devices required for both operators and maintainers. Identify all training data requirements at any site identified by the training requirement. Develop training materials and equipment as identified for maintainers and operators for train-the-trainer programs
Analyze sustainment strategy, including analysis of alternatives, and recommend ways to improve lifecycle supportability for project technology. Research industry and Government data, policies, and procedures to develop recommendations to improve the maintainability, and sustainability of systems in order to reduce the lifecycle cost associated with their sustainment
Support preparation of maintainability planning documentation on systems, subsystems, equipment, and components
Review Government-provided maintenance procedures and identify opportunities to improve maintainability and decrease cost
Review, analyze, and assess Government-provided ECPs including currently fielded systems drawings and TDPs. Provide recommendations for engineering change orders and technical directives with supporting rationales
Support maintenance, planning, analysis, and management for the establishment of organic capability. Incorporate recommendations into maintenance products to include developing and establishing new TD and technical manuals, inspection requirements, and maintenance procedures for each level of maintenance.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Security Clearance
Bachelor of Science (BS)/higher degree such as business, human resources, instructional design, social sciences, computer science,or training and development
3+ years of experience
Experience researching necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs
Experience developing all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids)
Experience developing all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms)
Experience training personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer-based/computer-aided training
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active DoD SECRET clearance
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Logistics Level I certification
5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area;
