CACI is seeking a Logistics Specialist II to support our government program located in Crane, IN.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as:
logistics operational management/user documents
integrated logistics support plans
user logistics support summaries
post-production support plans
logistics implementation plans
More About the Role:
Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications. Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Performs logistics database management functions. Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions. Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline.
Analyze program requirements to ensure all requirements for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and Integrated Procurement System (IPS) planning and implementation have been adequately addressed
Develop, implement, analyze, and modify Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
Assemble and review Integrated Logistics Assessment (ILA), and ILA audit documentation
Prepare Logistics Support Documentation which documents maintenance task and supportability analyses of parts and materials equipment, engineering requirements, manpower, shipping requirements, facilities requirements, computer resources, and software requirements
Includes recommendations for:
improvements and enhancements to maintenance plans; and
establishment of initial and long-term logistics plans
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
At least 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Extensive experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master of Science related degree (MS) such as systems engineering with undergraduate degrees in supply chain management or concentrations in Business Administration (BBA) program
Experience preparing logistics documentation in accordance with Independent Logistics Assessment Handbook NAVSO P-3692
Knowledge of Independent Logistics Assessment Handbook and the established requirements for defense systems acquisition reviews or program reviews
