CACI is seeking a Systems Engineering II to support our government program located in Crane, IN.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Evaluate cost-effectiveness of evolving emerging technologies and assess their ability to significantly enhance the functionality and capability of radar and EW systems, subsystems, and interface equipment for various platforms.
Perform trade studies, engineering, technical analyses, and assessments of radar and EW systems
In-depth technical analyses of an initiative's attainability and operational and doctrinal impacts
Direct and assist system engineers in the application of system engineering principles to the solution of secure systems design problems.
Conduct design engineering, hardware conceptualization, prototyping, and review of the overall product while accounting for supportability requirements.
Perform a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems.
Apply analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
Perform reverse engineering on Government owned systems, subsystems, equipment, and components
Perform feasibility studies, and investigate and resolve hardware system issues in the areas of technology application and insertion, and also in the areas of product performance and reliability
Develop test plans, test procedures, test beds, test sets, and reports as part of T&E events
More About the Role:
Assess, monitor, develop, and modify active and passive radar system, subsystem, and component redesign efforts of currently fielded radars utilizing open architecture methodologies, including experience with:
Open Virtual Path Crossconnect (VPX)
American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/VITA 46.0-2007
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Systems analysis experience with digital and analog radar subsystems and subassemblies, Electronic Countermeasures (ECMs), Electronic Counter-Countermeasures (ECCMs), and monopulse, active phased-array, mechanically and electronically steered antennas
Assess whether the processes and products used in prototypes and early development models comply with applicable specifications and Configuration Management (CM) plans
Assess system, subsystem, software, equipment, and component compatibility; identify and provide recommended solutions to interface problems
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
At least 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Expert knowledge of LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and other security and network operations and monitoring, vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, key management, data warehousing, and data mining capabilities.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to lead and direct the work of others

- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in system engineering or computer engineering
