CACI International Configuration Management Specialist in Dahlgren, Virginia
CACI is currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist in Dahlgren, VA. You will provide software configuration management (CM) and database management support by preparing, maintaining, and tracking change documentation.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide technical CM support and guidance
Ensure the integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs)
Provide CCB meeting support
Prepare and provide agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages
Track action and decision items
Schedule and coordinate periodic meetings with software development team(s)
Maintain status accounting records
Conduct special investigations to include periodic reports from the CM database
Provide summary impact statements as required
Receive, edit, and distribute reports to/from multiple organizations
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and/or five years of related experience
Two years of specialized experience in one or more of the following areas:
Configuration Management and status accounting processes
Configuration Management documentation, specification, standards and instructions
SLBM Fire Control System, Aegis Weapons Systems, Tomahawk Weapons Control System programs, or other major weapons systems software development areas
Database Management Systems
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
IBM Rational Change/Synergy
Practical knowledge of project management
Strong technical communication skills
Ability to work well independently as well as with a team
