CACI International Government Property Administrator in Denver, Colorado

Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Under limited direction of the Government Property Manager, individual will perform the spectrum of Contractor required activities illustrated in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 45 and 52.245-1. Primary duties will include physical inventories, updating property records, resolving unlocated property incidents, and contract closeout activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physical Inventory

  • Perform regular physical inventory of Sponsor owned Government Property

  • Update electronic property record during physical inventory scan

  • Perform pre and post inventory audits in order to determine inventory effectiveness

  • Effectively coordinate inventory activities with staff members so as to minimize operational disruption and maximize inventory effectiveness

  • Update property records when new information is received from users, custodians, and project managers

  • Property Management

  • Assist Program and Project Managers (or their designees) in the effective management of Government and Company property

  • Identify Government Property by screening incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Assign Government Property to contracts in electronic property record by correctly identifying cost accounting code or other qualifying attributes of the property

  • Input and update required information in Sunflower electronic property database

  • Organize, update, and file physical records

  • Prepare and affix asset tags to Government and Company property

  • Perform disposition activities of Government Property

  • Locate specific items of property in the facility when necessary

  • Assist in annual equipment calibration campaigns

  • Assist in fleet management duties for company owned vehicles

  • Maintain professional certification by completing required number of continuing education units as determined by the National Property Management Association

  • Shipping & Receiving

  • Assist Shipping & Receiving personnel by identifying and facilitating receival of Government Furnished Property

  • Research and identify the purpose for Government Furnished Property and document in accordance with existing policies and procedures

  • Prepare shipping documents (DD250, DD1149, BOL, labels, ect)

  • Assist Shipping & Receiving personnel when delivery of Government Property requires special handling or processing

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must demonstrate effective agility in meeting deadlines and adjusting work expectations to meet emerging business requirements

  • Ability to independently recognize, trouble-shoot and resolve problems

  • Ability to follow precise written and verbal instruction and conduct work with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, dock boards and vacuum lift systems

  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and government contracting

  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint

  • Valid state driver’s license. Some off-site travel will be required

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma and 8-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Documented experience in government, military, contractor or electronic manufacturing environment.

  • National Property Management Association certification strongly desired

  • Knowledge of DELTEK or project time tracking

  • Familiarity with Sunflower administration and operation

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
