What You’ll Get to Do:
Be embedded into our team working closely with seasoned Engineers and Mentors that will provide exposure to leading edge telecommunications technology along with fellow interns.
Our teams code everything from the hardware systems to the GUI.
Work will be directly tied to IP generation to feed into our existing and future customer work.
Write source code that will be used for our various platforms and customers (hardware, electrical digital, analog and/or RF designs)
Touch on various topics such as: cellular technology (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE), network or communications protocol programming, design patterns, embedded software development, Linux-based SW development, and Windows user interface.
Gain real-world experience to prepare you for your professional career.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
Must be a rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s program or graduate student.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
Minimum program commitment of 12 weeks (starting in mid to late May 2020)
Knowledge of object oriented programming (i.e. C, C++, Java)
Must currently be enrolled in High School OR a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate student.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable to position)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
If Undergraduate or Graduate, pursing a degree in___or related field is preferred, not required.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required.
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
