The Software Developer supporting the SAFFIRE program shall work in collaboration to enhance the analysis system leveraging proprietary capabilities. The Developer shall collaborate on the integration of capabilities from different systems. Additionally, you will collaborate on the design, development, testing and integration. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of this program is the frequent user interaction and unsolicited feedback on the value you bring to the mission every single day. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required
Demonstrated experience developing with modern languages such as: Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java, JavaScript, etc.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in other Government agencies
Demonstrated experience integrating multiple applications
Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems
Demonstrated experience building scalable solutions to mission problems
Demonstrated experience using rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologies
Demonstrated experience developing innovative analytical solutions
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Understanding of machine learning concepts
Experience with development in microservice based architectures
Understanding of web application development concepts
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, SciPy, NumPy, Pandas
AWS API experience
Demonstrated experience with Linux
Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and software CM processes / tools (Subversion, GIT, JIRA, Confluence)
Demonstrated experience with using and/or building DevOps pipelines for enterprise systems
AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.)
Security+ Certification
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Clearance:
Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance and a polygraph preferred

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $86,200-$176,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
