CACI/ Company 32, is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Fusion Analysis & Development Effort (FADE) team at our Denver Tech Center (DTC) location. You will work in a fast-paced environment providing quality assurance through the writing and execution of manual and automated regression tests. You will be supporting developers by testing new software as it is completed and supporting our customers directly with troubleshooting support. You will also help ensure our products are providing the reliable performance that our customers require.

The FADE team engineers solutions and develops capabilities that advance the tradecraft for intelligence analysis and warfighter support. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to manage and fuse data from multiple sources of intelligence, allowing them to assess, monitor and alert on intelligence in direct support of vital national security missions. FADE’s software platform is developed and deployed on AWS cloud environments and on edge devices to best support our users where they need it most. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Learn how to utilize our software from an end-user perspective

  • Write and run automated front-end regression tests

  • Write and perform manual regression testing procedures

  • Provide troubleshooting support for customers experiencing issues

  • Document test performance, bugs, and design inefficiencies in the software

  • Assist developers in creating realistic testing scenarios

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, current polygraph is preferred, else obtainable within 6 months of hire

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years related work experience in software test engineering

  • Test engineering in government contracting

  • Aspects of software development: infrastructure, design, development, test/QA, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance

  • Team player – support, back-up and collaborate with other testers, developers, and associated operations integration team

  • Strong communication – clear, concise, collaborative, well-spoken/written, capable of remaining calm while discussing difficult issues with customers and employees

  • Organized and capable of documenting existing test capabilities, test performance, and test needs

  • Self-motivated to explore new and better ways of improving our test performance and coverage

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks

  • Experience with Cypress.io automated test software

  • Write and run automated back-end tests

  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices

  • Comfortable in Linux and Windows

  • Experience with command/line scripting, such as Bash

  • Any experience in these areas is a plus:AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Key-value Data Stores (i.e. Accumulo, HBase, Cassandra), Document-Oriented Data Stores (i.e. Elasticsearch, Solr), Graph Databases (i.e. OrientDB, Neo4j), Hadoop MapReduce and/or Apache Spark, Apache Storm, Amazon Web Services, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and OGC WMS/WFS, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful APIs, Angular, Bootstrap, SASS, Yarn, NPM, Node, Cesium, OpenLayers, Java, Jenkins, GIT

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,800.00 - $178,100.00
