Job Description
CACI is currently hiring an Applications Developer for an immediate, high priority need we have available in Dulles, VA.
More About the Role:
You will become part of a team of Ten (10) highly talented professionals that are involved in supporting Nine (9) applications on behalf of our Sponsor. The key focus areas requiring support software development and implementation support include:
Maintaining code bases for the nine active applications; and
Transition the functionally of the nine applications to a C2S cloud-based environment.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will be responsible for gathering, and providing in-depth analysis on requirements. You will oversee requirements tracking and collaborating with development teams and mission partners to identify requirements and changes to the applications in development.
As the successful Applications Developer, you will develop the software features provided by the requirements, provide unit testing for their own work, technical program documentation and develop code for web front end, User interfaces and application back ends processes, and deploy the applications developed in the production environment provided by the sponsor using the software development.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (active / in-scope)
BS/BA Degree and Ten (10) years of relative experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficient in Java; Java Web Servers (i.e. Apache Tomcat)
Demonstrated on-the-job experience using JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3
Experience using Angular
Working knowledge of: Object Oriented analysis, Design and programming, Model-View-Control (MVC) architecture (i.e. Spring Boot); and Object/Relational Mapping frameworks (i.e. Hibernate)
Experience with front-end and/or back-end development
Experience using Maven to automatically build Java applications
Proficient in programming, troubleshooting, and debugging complex web-based tools and applications
Experience with AWS Services
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Demonstrated skills / experience across the following areas are considered desirable, and may provide candidates with competitive advantage in the selection process:
PostgreSQL open-source relational database management system
Enterprise Agile approaches and best practice towards implementation
Jira
Jenkins to build software applications
PgAdmin to execute SQL commands
Familiarity / working knowledge of JSON file format
