CACI International MSC ILS / Configuration Analyst in El Cajon, California
CACI has an immediate need for an Integrated Logistics Systems / Configuration Analyst to support the US Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC) platforms.
What You'll Get To Do:
Provide onsite logistics support services for MSC ships undergoing overhaul; including equipment configuration management, Government Furnished Material property accounting and updating of ship’s equipment logistics change data pursuant to overhaul.
Perform market research and material sourcing to identify cost and sources of supply for new material requirements; monitor activity (work items); generate required DD1149 documents for residual material scheduled for return to MSC Warehouse.
Development and maintenance of ship configuration baselines and equipment/systems top-down breakdown/hierarchical relationships.
Marine engineering system functionality, components, and associated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to support planned/unplanned maintenance.
Ship repair planning and specification development processes
Marine engineering system preventative and corrective maintenance.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
8 years of experience providing ship acquisition or fleet sustainment logistics support services to MSC, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, or commercial ship operating companies
Experience to include all of the following: Equipment provisioning and allowance modeling to support preventative (planned), corrective (unplanned), and alterative (e.g. TRANSALTs, MACHALTs, etc) maintenance.
Experience sourcing of material from commercial and federal sectors.
3 years’ experience executing ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing any of the following systems: MSC/Navy /Coast Guard databases/systems such as CLIP/CMLS, ShipCLIP, WinMASP, NTCSS, CDMD-OA, SCLSIS, MERLIN, Inter-Active Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) or IHS Haystack
