We are focused on helping our client modernize and migrate their learning and development technologies for sailor training. To do that, we are the trusted partner that gets to:

  • Coordinate and/or perform additions and changes to the network, network software, and operating systems that support the MyNavy HR effort

  • Investigate, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new network configurations and software

  • Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network operating systems, including primary support for detection and correction of problems

  • Support also includes evaluation of system usage and responding to problems both operational and developmental

  • Troubleshoot the network, communication protocols, and performance of systems installed and in development

  • Integrate new software, systems, and various updates and patches to the network to support functional cloud-based environments supporting the MyNavy HR effort

  • Support application test planning and test execution efforts for the MyNavy HR effort

  • Identify DoD / Navy policies, procedures, and regulatory changes that can impact design and functionality

  • Evaluate and provide feedback on system and functional design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts

  • Assist the team in helping to evaluate and test human capital management system solutions and other third party/custom solutions as necessary

More about this role:

CACI is the prime contractor for the MyNavyHR Transformation program, a large-scale integration and development transformation effort, that will offer significant growth opportunity for candidates. This position will be a unique and exciting career opportunity that will involve the integration, development, and deployment of enterprise wide systems involving COTS ERP, SaaS solutions, CRM, mobile solutions, and enterprise data analytics in a state-of-the-art Agile development environment. The transformation and integration of over 50 legacy systems to ERP and SaaS solutions will be a monumental technical experience for this position. In addition, the resulting solution will deliver direct support to our Navy Sailors and their families.

You’ll bring these qualifications:

  • 7 Years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of experience in supportingCloud-based software implementations, primarily using Amazon Web Services Impact Layers 2, 4, or 5 Systems-support (systems engineer, administration, architecture, other) of large-scale education, ERP, HCM, or CRP-related systems or software

  • Experience creating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving APIs

  • Experience migrating systems and software through various cloud-based virtual environments through the software development lifecycle

  • Experience with analyzing technical and business requirements and conducting gap analysis/assessment

  • Experience being part of a team and being able to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a government agency

  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience with full implementation effort of one or more of the following through a cyber security authorization (like FedRAMP) and transitioning it to a cloud-based host:

  • Oracle PeopleCode software/systems implementations, specifically PeopleSoft 9.2 Campus Solutions and PeopleTools 8.58,

  • Experience with Moodle LMS or an equivalent education-content management software (point out the equivalency in resume/CV),

  • and/or Ad Astra Enterprise Resource Scheduler

  • Experience in functional testing and change management for large government organizations

  • Direct experience with the US Navy, in particular, the Navy Education and Training Command (Navy Personnel Command or Bureau of Personnel are excellent substitutions for NETC)

  • A DoD 8570 security Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level 2 certifications i.e. CompTia Security+ and/or ISC(2) CISSP or comparable

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree

  • An Active Secret Clearance (or no less than one-year since a Secret or higher clearance expired) Must be able to achieve Top Secret Clearance.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Understanding of MyNavy HR business processes and application system

  • Knowledge of US Navy Learning and Sailor Education and/or experience working with Naval education systems

  • Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

  • Experience supporting various resources in scrum teams in an Agile environment; experience working in Sprints, Daily Scrums, and multiple work streams

  • Domain expertise in Campus Solutions and Human Capital Management Systems

  • Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
