CACI International Information Security Specialist in Fairfax, Virginia
What You'll Get to Do:
You will provide expert level experience and technical services on all aspects of Information Security, to include operational and auditing support of WAN and LAN systems for large-scale programs of national international scope.
Monitor security systems, and analyzes potential threats and vulnerabilities to WAN and LAN systems as part of an Information Security Continuous Monitoring program.
Provide operational user requirements for the development of new computer and network security systems, including both hardware and software.
Coordinate technical incident response and remediation activities for client environments.
Provide security analysis and recommended security solutions for product, system and network architecture designs.
Prepare remedial options and supervises correction of information security shortfalls.
Develop data analysis tools for operational use and analyzes current threats to information security and systems, providing assessment results, as well as operational security metrics.
Analyze network traffic and alerts to assess, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms.
Identify trends and root causes of system failures or vulnerabilities.
Work with the CIRT team members to initiate CIRT incidences and track investigations to resolution.
Compose and send alert notifications.
Analyze security findings and data.
Identifies trends and root causes of system failures or vulnerabilities.
Maintain vendor and trusted partner relationships.
Support development, implementation, and documentation of formal security programs and policies throughout the organization and monitors compliance to these policies and programs.
Assist in representing the organization’s technical security interests with partners, suppliers, industry associations, and government entities to ensure the bi-directional flow of technical information and best practices in the area of information security.
Provide technical support services for the development of integrated security systems and solutions.
Monitor trends in information technology and security that could have an impact on the security of the organization’s products, processes, infrastructure, or customers.
Publish reports and keeps metrics for client systems.
TS/SCI w/ poly is required- reinvestigation must be within 5 years
Bachelors with 10 years of related experience
Experience with the operation of, and maintenance of Nessus, Security Center, AppDetective Pro, and WebInspect.
Experience with RMF, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53, and NISPOM
Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
CISSP Certification is desired
Use of tools such as Firepower, Tripwire, Splunk, and Tenable is highly desirable.
Familiarity with integration of security data for the purpose of developing and reporting on system security metrics.
